I'm currently on holiday with my family in Melbourne. We flew directly from our town here which in itself was a treat (no 3 hour drive to Perth & expensive car parking fee's).
Whilst we have been here so far my apple watch thinks im doing strenuous exercise from all the steps (clear indication of too many hours sat at my desk usually ... oops!), we've explored many spots, got lost & enjoyed alot of great coffee BUT what i've noticed is the 'stuff'.
So many business' here leave a mark on you.
Im a very visual person you see, i instantly notice the things my husband doesn't .... example, a clothing store full of pumping music & very on trend apparel (hubby works in surf clothing retail) he said was a great set up & good fit out - i said i loved how the hats where all in colour arrangement 👌🏻
The other is the 'luxe' feel im getting from
this entire place - gold hardware & green velvet chairs everywhere, its a 10/10 from me.

Every corner of this place is cohesive, from the waiting lounges scattered throughout the many levels of the shopping centre, to the food court & deisgner store levels - it all matches in subtle ways.
It's branding.
We discussed this topic on my recent Small Biz Series instagram live with Bec Minchin from Bloom Studio Co & how subtle hints of your brand spread across platforms, marketing material, website, apparel etc is SO important.
Not only do we want our brand to be noticeable, we want the subtle hints to be remembered also (the rainbow order coloured hats).
So, next time you notice a brand or business wether it's in a store, on a website or marketing material - take note of what has caught your attention & apply it to your business, after all - the small things all add up.
